"A large haul of explosives including 57 suicide jackets and 132 Mortar Rounds were found during search operations carried out in the Puthukudyruppu area on Monday."

"The recovered items consisted of 57 suicide jackets, 19  bombs that can be fitted to vehicles, 132 rounds of 82mm Mortar bombs, 132kg of High Explosives, 10kg of gun powder, two M-16 weapons, 10 M-16 magazines, 45 rounds of 5.56 ammunitions and three RPG rounds."
